Ushuaia carries a mythology few destinations can match. The city at the end of the world, pressed between the Beagle Channel and the mountains of Tierra del Fuego, it is the last human settlement before Antarctica — and it feels like it.
The light here is extraordinary — long, low, and golden in summer, creating a perpetual golden hour that photographers travel the world to find. A private catamaran on the Beagle Channel at sunset, stopping at sea lion colonies and penguin rookeries, is one of Argentina's finest experiences. Ushuaia is also the departure point for Antarctica expeditions — something we arrange for a select number of travelers each season.
