Ascend Cerro Frías for what many consider the finest panoramic view in the El Calafate region — a 360° sweep taking in Lago Argentino, Perito Moreno, and the full expanse of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Few viewpoints in the area put all three of the region's defining features in a single frame the way Cerro Frías does, which is why photographers and repeat visitors often rate this above some of the more heavily marketed excursions.
