The park's design favours open, walk-through enclosures over traditional cages wherever possible, and its conservation and breeding programs are genuinely regarded within the region rather than just a marketing claim. An outstanding family day out combining conservation, education, and real wonder — particularly for children who haven't yet seen animals like capybaras or toucans outside a screen. Located in Escobar, roughly an hour from central Buenos Aires, it makes a good full-day addition for families with an extra day in the city, and a private transfer removes the need to navigate public transport with young children in tow. It's a long day: the border crossing and the drive each way take real time out of the itinerary, so this is best scheduled when you have a full, unhurried day free rather than squeezed between other El Calafate activities. Border crossing documentation is required for minors, and we handle the logistics of the crossing itself as part of arranging this privately. For travellers whose Patagonia itinerary is otherwise entirely on the Argentine side, this is the one experience worth the extra effort to see the Chilean side of the same mountain range.

Isla Victoria & Arrayanes Forest Boat Trip
